Patti's Poem:
Everywhere
I look up and down, all around.
Where is it?
I frown.
Oooh! There it is!
I'm right!
I'm as high as a kite.
I look through it.
What the hell?
Where is that bloody dollar bill?!
Oooh, yes.
Come to mama, you don't even need your papa!
You're mine now, all mine!
Oh, how smart I am, to figure this out!
Why does he hide it so?
I am no thief!
Well, maybe I am.
Just a little bit.
Oh well! Who cares?
Not me! George isn't even here.
Oh, dear!
Caught again.
I'll do anything!
I'll cry!
I'll lie!
Oh, if he finds out I'll die.
Whew! He doesn't suspect me.
Good thing I'm only innocent Patti!
Now, it's shopping time!
What about those earrings I saw in the store?
Or those clothes people don't need anymore.
What is that called?
Hand me downs?
I don't need that!
I'll have to frown!
Well, if he finds out I took them, I'll just sneak around.
If he finds out, I'll cry and whine.
But, who cares?
It's all mine!!!!
